Dr. Markus Giacomuzzireceived his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (Chicago, Illinois). He completed a Podiatric Surgical Residency at Westside VA Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Giacomuzzi is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He holds memberships in the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Texas Podiatric Medical Association and the Harris County Podiatric Medical Association. He is also a clinical instructor with the Harris County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program of West Houston Medical Center, a three-year surgical residency program. Dr. Giacomuzzi began his podiatric practice in 1988 with MacGregor Medical Association and 14 years later joined Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group in June 2002.

He is on the staff at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Christus St. John Hospital, Memorial Herman Southeast Medical Center, Bay Area Surgicare Center, United Surgery Center, and Triumph Clear Lake Hospital. Dr. Giacomuzzi's areas of specialization include reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, diabetes and diabetic foot complications as well as all pediatric foot conditions. He also has a special interest in wellness and nutrition. His philosophy of practice is to actively involve his patients in their own healthcare to achieve a good health outcome. Dr. Giacomuzzi was born and raised in Chicago and was one of seven children including a twin brother. Born to Swiss parents Dr. Giacomuzzi holds unique dual citizenships as both American and Swiss. While growing up in Chicago, Dr. Giacomuzzi along with his parents, brothers and sisters were a performing musical family band. Dr. Giacomuzzi and his wife have two children, a daughter and son, and are residents in the Clear Lake area. They are active members of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clear Lake. In his spare time Dr. Giacomuzzi has a passion for cycling, playing golf and spending time with his wife and children
