New patients r. Leticia Cantu earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas in 2008. She completed her family practice residency through Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Program in Houston, Texas, where she earned the Senior Resident and Resident of the Year Awards.

Dr. Cantu is board-certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Family Physicians, Harris County Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Cantu graduated with high honors from the University of Texas in Austin with her bachelor's degree in human biology.

Dr. Cantu’s philosophy in medicine compasses the belief that her patients should be involved in their own healthcare decisions to attain a higher sense of well-being. Dr. Cantu enjoys treating entire families and her special interests in family medicine are preventative medicine and women’s health.
