Family Doctor
 Dr. Kathi McCree is the Medical Director for Texas Gulf Coast Medical Group. She has practiced in the Clear Lake and Texas City areas since 1987. Following in her mother's foot steps (also a physician), she received her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed her residency at the affiliated hospitals of the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. McCree is board-certified by the American Board of Family Physicians and is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. McCree 's special interest is wellness and prevention of disease. She is a strong proponent of smoking cessation. Dr. McCree is known for her positive and practical approach to medical care (life in general). Her patients appreciate her personal concern for not only their medical problems, but also their general well being. She brings her personal spiritual dimension to the practice of medicine. Dr. McCree and her husband are parents of four children. Their residence in rural Kemah includes many varieties of pets and projects. Dr. McCree and her husband are advocates of home-schooling which they provide to their children. In her spare time, Dr. McCree enjoys biblical studies and camping with her family.
